Abby regularly works on commissions from both commercial and private clients. Her work ranges in size from minature to larger than life.
As part of the design proccess, Abby will gather or create source material using drawings and photographs. Where works are installed in a natural setting or building, visits to the location are preferred.
For larger works a maquette (small model) is often produced and then the full size model is made. After this, moulds are taken and the bronze casting process begins at the foundry.
Three to six months are required to produce a commissioned work. During this time Abby works with the client to ensure their understanding of the proccess and enjoyment of the finished work.
